LiveReload App Reviews

Wish I found this sooner

This has saved me a ton of time. A couple of things keep me from giving 5 stars. First everytime I add a less file, it automatically adds it to the list of files that should be compiled and I can’t find an option for turning this off. This is poluting my less directories and causeing a lot of clean up and manual maintenance that is required. Second issue is the app crashes about once an hour on me. I am using the included script and not the plug-ins at this point, so I’m wonding if the plug-ins would help. Overall a very solid app and will definitely continue to use it as it’s better than the others I’ve tried.

Doesnt work over https

This tool works great except it doesnt support https.

Great app, increased my productivity immensely

I do design work across different browsers and mobile. My wrist hurt from lifting my hands off the keyboard to switch tabs and reload. Now it doesn’t, thanks LiveReload. I insist everyone on my team use it as well.

Excellent.

Totally essential. I use this for all of my web design and front-end jobs.

Crash Much?

It works well enought (except for the constant crashing after closeing modals). It would also be nice it instead of only having the option of "accept" when a modal was open, but also to “cancel."

Great app

Makes coding web front ends a lot less tedious. nice work!

Great tool for the toolbox

It works as described and is very useful. My only gripe is that the icon for menubar is pixelated when using a retina macbook pro. I really hope it gets fixed because it is the only icon that is pixelated on my menubar.

Doesn’t compile Sass

LiveReload detects when a .scss file has changed, but does not compile — which was the primary functionality I was looking for. I’m running Sass v3.4.21 on Mac OS X (El Capitan) version 10.11.3 (15D21). Don’t waste your money.
